Standing on Mendenhall Lake recently I looked down at the fresh snow on the lake which was frozen in my area

This view is starting to show some of the land under the glacier and how this area of Eastern Greenland could change in the near future

You can also hike up and take the tram down for a small fee as well

As Singapore is near the equator the length of golden hour or dusk is quite short and limits the amount of photographing you can do with the nice evening light

Passing through the Clouds Matted:8"x10" Standing on Mendenhall Lake recentlyAs I departed Seattle on a flight back to Denver I knew we would be climbing through the clouds a few minutes after takeoff based on my inbound flight a few hours earlier. As we were making our way higher I had my phone ready to see what the conditions were like on top of clouds during the late afternoon. With the low amount of light once we passed through I was able to capture a few images with a longer shutter speed. This is a one second exposure
